The Research Staff Hub, launching on 22 April, will signpost researchers and DPhil students to skills development and training opportunities; provide information and advice about academic careers and other research career options; and help to build a community of researchers, with induction resources, opportunities to connect with other research staff and wellbeing support. The Head of the Hub, Rachel Bray, will speak about how researchers in Social Sciences can engage in shaping the Hub and gaining from its services, and will take questions.
In the second half of the event, Sam Sneddon, Head of Research, Impact and Engagement for the Social Sciences Division, will discuss the support that the Division can offer researchers as we emerge from the Covid pandemic - including support with securing funding; skills development; career progression; and impact and engagement.
This event is open to all researchers and research support staff in the Social Sciences Division.
